Can we please talk about this moment for a second? It was a short, small moment, but not only was this just incredibly sweet, but the look on Ivy’s face. Bless her insecure soul, I just want to hug her. You can see in her reaction, the look on her face, everything those words mean to her. First, there’s a kind of shock, a disbelief that someone just told her she was the source of their happiness, and then that she’s wonderful. This is a girl who’s only ever wanted to succeed, and here is someone, someone she deeply respects, in a position of power, someone who could almost be a motherly figure (which we’ve seen very quickly, that maybe she and her own mother don’t have the best relationship), telling her she was wonderful, and made her happy. It’s like Ivy didn’t even know what to do with that statement, but it meant the world to her, and I’m fairly certain it made her night, perhaps even her week, which hadn’t been the best, to hear that from someone.
